Greetings!
I hope you all are doing well.
I wanted to highlight that the summer Trial Advocacy course was purposely scheduled for 4:30-8:00 p.m. during the week to allow students to work summer jobs and complete this course. Thank you.
Take care.

Subject: REMINDER: SUMMER '25 REGISTRATION OPENS WED, MARCH 19, 2025
Happy Wednesday Beloved Learners!,
We hope this reminder finds you well. Registration for the summer 2025 term opens tonight at 8PM EST. Self-registration will remain open until Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 5PM. Please note one schedule change: LAW-557 (ADVANCED LEGAL RESEARCH) is not a course that satisfies the Planning Requirement. We continue to offer LAW-803 (PRE-TRIAL LITIGATION) to satisfy the requirement. Please read the original email for any pertinent information. Finally, it is very rare that waitlists ensue for the summer term but if that should occur, do not panic. We will review them, follow up with the relative professor to determine capacity, and contact you accordingly. We wish you much success with registration. Do take care.
Until next we chat...be kind to yourself and others, love those in your circle, and strive to thrive in 2025!

Subject: SUMMER '25 REGISTRATION OPENS WED, MARCH 19, 2025
Hello Everyone,
We hope this email finds you returning from an enjoyable spring break. 3Ls who intend to graduate in May, isn’t it lovely that you can disregard this email!!?!?!?
Registration for summer 2025 will open for all students on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 8PM EST. Self-registration will remain open until 5PM on May 20, 2025 (one day before the official start of the summer term, which is May 21, 2025). Everyone, it is paramount that you pay attention to the syllabus specific to your course(s) and as provided by your professor(s).
For everyone else:
1. Please refer to the Course Schedule and Policies and Procedures document earlier distributed by Dean DeStefano, which details information relative to classes, credit hour tuition, financial aid, and etc.
* IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Externships I and II (LAW 891 and LAW 892, respectively) are now 3-credit hour courses. Should you wish to have a summer externship experience and will need financial aid to do so, please contact Mrs. Lisa Clark (clarkl at campbell.edu<mailto:clarkl at campbell.edu>), Associate Director of Financial Aid, after registering for the course.
1. Registration Instructions:
* Should you find it helpful, attached is a guide on how to register; instructions are not specific, as they were completed for the initial implementation of the Student Planning module (https:\\ss.campbell.edu<https://ss.campbell.edu>) and are applicable to all students at the university (undergraduate and graduate students). If you have not previously visited [ss.campbell.edu]Student Planning (where you pay tuition, register, etc.), we encourage you to log in prior to registration, to simply familiarize yourself with the look and flow of the software.
* Additionally, we do not have your specific student view so again, the screenshots are general. We have updated the document primarily to note:
a) The law school’s summer term code - 2025 Summer Law School
or 25SULW3.
b) The fact that law students do not require advisor’s approval prior
to registering (yay!).
Summer courses are available to view at your convenience. Please direct any registration relative questions to lawregistrar at campbell.edu<mailto:lawregistrar at campbell.edu>. Should you encounter issues once registration opens on 3/19/2025 at 8PM, send an email to lawregistrar at campbell.edu<mailto:lawregistrar at campbell.edu>. Someone will be online to assist with registration issues, which are usually minimal for the summer term. Everyone, for the expectation of sound sleep and the mental health of us all, may we have a seamless registration experience! Do take care.
Live. Lift. Love! In word and in deed, let kindness be your guide.
With Sincerity,
Dr. C. S. Newsome
