[Law26] Client Counseling Competition - February 2026

Campbell Law will be sending two teams to compete in the ABA Client Counseling Competition in February 2026 (regional location not yet assigned).  This is a regional competition.  If one of our teams wins at the regionals, they will move on the national competition.

If you are interested in competing in the Client Counseling Competition, please send the following to Director Shekmer by email at, rshekmer at campbell.edu<mailto:rshekmer at campbell.edu>, no later than Friday, January 9, 2026:

Provide a description of the types of experiences or classes that you have had which relate to client counseling.  This can include courses, clinics, work experience - as long as it deals with legal client counseling.  Please address anything that relates to client counseling but refrain from writing a novel.
Include a statement that you possess REAL ID, either a REAL ID driver's license or a US passport.
Attach your resume.

Please be advised that if you represent Campbell Law in a competition, you will receive one graded credit hour on your transcript.  Students on academic probation are not permitted to compete.  All travel expenses to and from the competition are paid by the Office of Competitive Advocacy.  As this competition will require air travel, you must possess REAL ID, either a REAL ID driver's license or a US Passport.
