[Law25] Deadline to Submit Graduation Application for MAY 2025 Participation

Hello Intended 2025 Graduates!,

Excitement, exhaustion, anxiety, anticipation! Let all those emotions keep you as you head towards completion in May, August, or December of this year. There is a lot of content below and for the sanity of us all, we need you to read this email carefully, as it regards deadlines and information we need from you for graduation. Initial details are given below but specifics regarding attire, regalia pick up, general guest seating, and more will be forthcoming as graduation logistics are confirmed and as we draw nearer to the end of the semester. For now, let us focus on submission deadlines for the diploma and regalia orders:

ALL MAY 2025 GRADUATES or PARTICIPANTS IN THE MAY 2025 LAW SCHOOL CEREMONY…
By Friday, February 28, 2025:

NOTE: If you were an August 2024 graduate or December 2024 completer, and you intend to participate in the May 2025 ceremony, please again complete the graduation application. Thank you.

DIRECTIONS FOR ALL:

Access the following link to complete your graduation application:  Apply for Graduation<https://www.campbell.edu/registrar/graduation/> or go to www.campbell.edu<http://www.campbell.edu> – Academics – Registrar’s Office – Apply for Graduation (this will land on the Main Campus Registrar’s Office Graduation Information page). Scroll to the middle of the page. Please note:

The university uses a universal graduation application and therefore you will need the following information:
        *
Campbell University Issued Student ID: Please note your 7-digit student ID number;
        *
Degree you are pursuing: Juris Doctor
        *
Major (Field of Study): Law
        *
Home Campus/School Location: SCHOOL OF LAW (GRADUATE/1ST PROF)
        *
Because you are graduate level students: You will also need to note any bachelor/masters degrees earned including the degree, school, and year awarded. These details are important for the graduation program.
        *
Contact information where you can be reached, if necessary, including phone, email, and mailing address.

Students participating in Campbell University Dual Degree programs, such as JD/MBA, JD/MTWM, JD/DO, JD/MDiv. and etc, will need to complete two separate graduation applications, one for each degree. Students who are in a dual degree program with NCSU will need to adhere to graduation application guidelines as dictated by NCSU.

Allot 10-15 minutes for completion of the graduation application and be sure to save and submit it once completed. If you do not receive a confirmation message that your application has been submitted, it is best to reapply and resubmit.

ADDITIONALLY (FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE MAY 2025 GRADUATION CEREMONY):

  1.
Mandatory rehearsal is on Thursday, May 08, 2025, from 11am-1pm at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts, Memorial Auditorium, located at 2 E South Street, Raleigh, NC  27601-2337. A professional photographer will take your class photo immediately after rehearsal, likely within the Auditorium or in/around the Center.  You will need to bring your regalia for the photo; you do not need to wear it for rehearsal. The graduate reception will follow at the Sheraton Raleigh. You do not have to participate in graduation in order to attend the reception, though we hope you will do both.

Graduation is on Friday, May 09, 2025, at 10:00am at Memorial Auditorium. Graduates must arrive by 8:45am. Doors will not open for guests until 9:00 a.m.; that is a firm time.

The Graduation Fair, during which time you can order a doctoral tam, invitations, a class ring, and etc. will occur on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 11am-2pm in the Pope Foyer.

Please note that due to limited seating for those with mobility issues, some members of your party may be asked to sit in a different row.

Later this semester, Dr. Newsome and Mrs. Clark will email you IF you have a balance with the Bursar’s Office, for it must be paid before you can participate in the graduation event and/or receive your diploma. If you already know you have a balance, please contact the Bursar’s Office regarding payment.
