Happy Friday, 3Ls,

The North Carolina Bar Association's Business Law Section is sponsoring two students from each law school to attend their annual two-day CLE here in Raleigh on February 6-7, 2025. This is the description of the applicants they are seeking:

The NCBA Business Law Section seeks applicants from historically excluded or under-resourced backgrounds, first-generation college students and those from disadvantaged backgrounds who are interested in practicing business law in North Carolina and are enrolled full-time at an ABA-accredited North Carolina law school. Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to business law or a similar practice area and to promoting diversity and inclusion through their activities, experiences, and leadership.

This is a fantastic learning and networking opportunity with attorneys throughout the state practicing business law, and the expense of attending will be covered if selected. If interested, please email me a few sentences on how you fit the description, as well your resume, by EOB on Monday (12/16).

Congrats on finishing exams, and have a great break!
NS
