This is a reminder that (even though it is still April) the time for applying for Fall 2024 Semester externships is upon us.

At the end of this email, you will find a list of externship opportunities currently open on Symplicity. For your convenience, they are separated out by organization type and contain the Symplicity ID number.  (You have already seen a number of these in your Career Advisor newsletter over the past few weeks.)

A few things I want to note:


  1.
Judicial externships generally take place on an earlier recruiting timeline than other types. Accordingly, this is a final reminder that these applications will close either this weekend or in the coming weeks.

  2.
If you come across a posting for an externship that you are interested in, I would encourage you to not wait too long to apply, as there are some placements that consider applications on a rolling basis.

  3.
This is NOT an exhaustive or final list. You should continue to check Symplicity and your weekly Career Advisor newsletter for more opportunities in the coming weeks and months. You are also not limited by the opportunities posted and advertised by the Career Center. If you find and obtain your own opportunity for the Fall semester that you would like to convert to an externship, reach out to me to discuss it.
