Good Afternoon,

As you all transition from classes to your summer experiences, we wanted to make sure you were aware of a great networking/professional development opportunity with the NC Advocates for Justice. It will give you access to hundreds of attorneys across our State who are criminal defense or plaintiff's attorneys. Let me know if you have any questions. Have a good weekend.

The North Carolina Advocates for Justice<https://www.ncaj.com/> is seeking a Campbell Law student to serve as a law student representative for the 2023-2024 school year. This "student rep" position would, among other duties outlined below, promote NCAJ events that are targeted toward law students and serve as a liaison between the NCAJ and the student population of the law school.

The North Carolina Advocates for Justice is a nonpartisan association of legal professionals dedicated to empowering a strong community of trial lawyers by protecting people, preventing injustice and promoting fairness. NCAJ is the largest association of North Carolina trial lawyers who represent plaintiffs in matters of personal injury, workers' compensation, disability rights, family law, consumer rights or civil rights and those who represent criminal defendants and individuals seeking immigration status. Law students interested in becoming trial lawyers in these areas are offered complimentary membership.

To apply to serve as an NCAJ student rep, please submit a one-page cover letter detailing why you want to serve as a student rep, along with your resume, both in PDF format, to josh at ncaj.com<mailto:josh at ncaj.com>. The deadline for submission is June 12.
