[dhsc28] DHSc Class Officer Elections – Timeline & Next Steps

Hi everyone,

I hope you are doing well. We are finalizing the election process for your DHSc Class Officers, and I want to share the timeline and next steps with you.

This week, I will be contacting all students who were nominated to confirm their participation and gather their election materials. If you are interested in running and do not receive a nomination email from me by 3:00 PM today, please reach out. I will gladly share what is required to be included on the ballot. All candidate materials will be due by Friday, November 28 at 5:00 PM.

Officer Positions & Responsibilities

· President – Provides leadership for the class, serves as the main liaison between students and faculty, and helps coordinate class initiatives.

· Vice President (Social Media) – Assists the president and manages class social media or communications as needed.

· Secretary/Treasurer – Keeps records, meeting notes, and oversees any class funds or budget-related tasks.

· Chaplain – Offers encouragement and supports class well-being, often organizing cards or gestures for classmates in times of need.

Election Timeline

· Candidate Materials Due: Friday, November 28 at 5:00 PM

· Elections Open: Monday, December 1

· Elections Close: Monday, December 8 at 2:00 PM

· Officer Notification: Winners will be contacted individually after elections close

· Class Announcement: A full announcement will follow once notifications are complete
