Just a quick reminder that our DHSc Class of 2026 Town Hall is happening TONIGHT at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. We hope to see you there to share your feedback and be part of the discussion!

Good Morning DHSc Class of 2026,
We will be hosting a Town Hall on Tuesday, October 21st at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom to allow space for open discussion regarding class leadership and next steps moving forward.
The meeting will begin with open discussion before moving into a decision to either reaffirm the current officers or nominate and elect new officers.
Please note the following before attending:

This meeting is intended to be constructive and respectful. Any hostile or negative statements directed toward individuals will result in immediate dismissal from the meeting and disqualification from participating or being on the ballot.

The information that was shared previously about leadership appointments was shared appropriately. As the Student Affairs Coordinator, I oversee all organizations and clubs. When a new group or class organization forms, the student who initiates the group serves as president along with the selected executive board.
  *
Moving forward, the class can decide to either keep the current officers, reinstate the group with added members, or hold a new election.
  *
After open discussion, anyone may make a motion to keep the current officers or start over with nominations and elections. Each motion will require a first and second to proceed.

This meeting is not a place to discuss individuals or personal opinions about any person who may or may not currently hold a position. Please keep comments focused on the process and the best interests of the class.
