Dear DHSc Family,
We are excited to share some wonderful news as we celebrate reaching the halfway point of the semester! This journey is not only about advancing our knowledge and leadership in health sciences, but also about uplifting one another as a community of scholars and change agents.
It is our honor to introduce the Doctor of Health Science Class of 2026 Officers, who will serve as dedicated leaders and advocates for our cohort:
✨ President – Shay Webb
✨ Vice President – Graysen Boles
✨ Secretary – Phylise Bartlett
✨ Chaplain – Alethia Daniels
✨ Advisor – Kenley Byrd
Please join us in congratulating and supporting them as they step into these roles with passion, vision, and commitment to our collective success.
We also extend a warm welcome to our newest DHSc cohort members—we are thrilled to have you join our growing family. Together, we are building a network of leaders who will influence health care, policy, research, and advocacy for years to come.
📅 Save the Date: Our inaugural Town Hall will be held on Wednesday, November 20th. This will be a time for us to reflect on the semester, celebrate our accomplishments, and look ahead to the opportunities before us.
As we continue this journey, we encourage our Class of 2027 and 2028 cohorts to get involved—whether by serving as class officers or engaging in upcoming initiatives. Your voices, ideas, and leadership go a long way in shaping the future of the DHSc program and the communities we serve.
Let’s continue to encourage one another, share our strengths, and keep the spirit of excellence alive. The work we are doing now prepares us to be bold leaders who inspire change beyond the classroom.
Here’s to growth, resilience, and the power of collaboration. 💡
