[dhsc26] Campbell Innovation Challenge (TUESDAY in Theater)

Good afternoon all,

In case you are not aware of the Campbell Innovation Challenge happening next week, I’ve attached a couple of slides.  It is simple “pitch” competition with cash awards. There are two Tracks:  a Campus Track for ideas to improve the campus experience (broadly defined) and a Community Track for ideas that extend beyond campus into the community.  This is a Campbell campus-wide event, not a LFSB event.

The concept is simple:


  1.  Register by scanning the QR code or contacting Professor Scott Kelly (skelly at campbell.edu<mailto:skelly at campbell.edu>)  & designate Track
  2.  3-minute “pitch” of the idea
  3.  Judging criteria:  a) the impact of the idea;  b) research (e.g., surveys done, stats, what other universities are doing, etc.) to show effort; c) the quality of the presentation (PPT slides, but not required)


Awards for each Track:   1st Place - $1000;   2nd Place - $500;   3rd Place - $250 …….. plus, Lunch with President Creed
