Good afternoon, students,

I wanted to take a moment to reflect upon the current political climate, both nationally and internationally, and let you know that as we continue to navigate numerous challenges as a nation, we recognize that these events may create additional stress and anxiety for our students. While each student’s journey is unique, CUSOM is committed to supporting our students both academically and personally. I wanted to remind you to start this year off with some healthy habits. Talk about what concerns you – don’t keep it bottled up. Our Behavioral Health Team is always here to be a source of support through whatever circumstance you may find yourself in. Please reach out and know you are not alone. More information is below for you and as you already know, my door is always open as well.

As you all know, we have a WONDERFUL Behavioral Health Team at CUSOM that you may utilize for unlimited in-person or virtual appointments by emailing cusombh at campbell.edu<mailto:cusombh at campbell.edu>. Ms. Teresa Butrum, our fabulous Departmental Manager, will assist you in setting up an appointment. Ms. Butrum may also be reached at (910) 893-7203, or you may always stop by her desk in the north hallway to schedule an appointment.

Some of you may also want to use our partner service, “MyGroup”, which is available 24/7/365 – any hour of the day or night - even on weekends or holidays, when our Behavioral Health Team is not in the office.

To use MyGroup for RESOURCES/INFORMATION:

  *   Go to mygroup.com
  *   Click on “Current Participants” on the top menu bar.
  *   Select the GREEN button,  “Access Online Services”.
  *   Username is campbell00
  *   Password is guest
  *   Use this form to access online services and free resources available to our students.


To use MyGroup for NON-EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS:

  *   Go to mygroup.com
  *   Click on “Current Participants” on the top menu bar.
  *   For APPOINTMENTS, select the YELLOW button, “Request an Appointment” and fill out the form.
  *   For the “program”, select “Student Assistance Program”.
  *   For the “organization name”, list “Campbell University”.
  *   For the “Department or Division”, list “CUSOM” or “Campbell Medical School”.
  *   Fill out the rest of the form and click “Access Services”.
  *   A representative will contact you for an appointment.


To use MyGroup for IMMEDIATE/EMERGENCY PURPOSES:

  *   Call 1-800-633-3353.
  *   A live counselor will assist you.
