On January 6 at noon the following panelists and specialties will be represented:

Dr. Cappola will be moderating this panel.
You are expected to have completed the Medical Specialty Preference Inventory (MSPI) Assessment by now.  If you have not, please complete this today.  This is found in the Understand Yourself section of Careers in Medicine.  Once you have completed this assessment, upload the results to the link provided below.  When you save and submit your assessment results, please use this format: Last Name, First Name when submitting to the Egnyte link.  These sessions and assignments are required.  Attendance will be taken tomorrow.

Additionally, there are Specialty advising videos on the Career Advising Blackboard page for each Clinical Chair.  These videos are highly recommended for viewing either before or after these panels.  As mentioned below, there will be another panel on 1/22 with other specialties and chairs represented.

Dear CUSOM students,

On January 6 and January 22nd over the noon hour there will be two specialty panels represented by the CUSOM chairs called Lunch & Learns.  This will be a new series offered in the first year introducing you to the Department of Clinical Affairs and hearing about different specialties offered in medicine.  The participants at each panel will be announced prior to each session, and we would like to take some questions submitted ahead of time about what you would like to know about the differences in training, careers, and requirements for the different specialties.
