Hello Class of 2029!



May I be one of the first to wish you a Happy New Year!  Thank you to everyone who has applied for our first round of elections so far.  This is the final reminder that the application on Presence for these positions will close at 5 pm today. Letter of intent and video are due to me by Monday, January 5th at 5PM. Voting for Group 1 will start on Tuesday, January 6th and go until Thursday, January 8th at 8:00 PM.  You will get another email with those details.



Our next round of Elections (Group 2) will be next week and include the following positions:



SGA: Treasurer, Secretary, Diversity Chair, Touch Coordinator, Scholarship Chair, Mental Health Chair, and Social Chair

SOMA: Treasurer, Secretary, National Liaison, Community Outreach Director, Med Gala Chair, Overdose Prevention Task Force Committee Chair, Political Action Director, PR Director, Pre-Soma Director, Student Affairs Director



All Presence applications are due on Wednesday, January 7th at 11:59 PM.  Positions in RED require both a letter of intent and video speech due to me on Monday, January 12th at 5:00 PM.  All other positions only require a letter of intent due to me at the same time.

As a reminder, if you have never used Presence, please look at the instructions below.

1.     Go to: https://campbell.presence.io<https://campbell.presence.io/> and at the top right, login using your Campbell credentials.

2.     Once approved as a user, you will be able to click on "Organizations" on the top search bar.

3.     In the search box that appears, type in the word "forms."  This should bring up the "Forms" organizational page.  Click on that page banner.

4.     Once to the Forms page, click "Forms" from the selection menu at the center of the page.

5.     Under "Forms," select "Election Group X."  X matches the group on the schedule.  Fill out the form for the position you are applying for.

a.       As listed in the Academic Bulletin (section 7.3.1), a student must have a cumulative GPA of ≥ 3.0 on a 4.0 scale as calculated at the end of each grading period, have no course failures, and cannot be on academic or on conduct warning or probation to serve as a club or class officer (yellow and purple on spreadsheet<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BcIYuV53_itDLpd-ghzqUdweM-jtjoKd3NDhfYcp8ZU/edit?usp=sharing>).  Any position in green does not require a 3.0 GPA.  If you have any questions regarding your GPA, please contact our Registrar's Office (naylor at campbell.edu<mailto:naylor at campbell.edu>).  Please note, our Registrar will not be able to respond to requests until January 2nd.
