Good afternoon, Class of 2029!

WOW, there was a LOT of information today, wasn’t there? All helpful, I hope.

Here are some reminders for tomorrow (Thursday):


  *   Dress code for tomorrow is business casual (but no jeans, shorts, t-shirts, tennis shoes, etc.).
  *   You might want to bring a jacket or sweater as the temperature in the lecture hall fluctuates frequently.
  *   Eat breakfast before you arrive!
  *   Please arrive between 8:30am and 8:50am. **Please arrive on time so all students are in their seats by the time our presenters begin.
  *   You may park in any UNMARKED parking spot around our building.
  *   Please wear your CUSOM ID badge from today.
  *   Our first session will begin promptly at 9:00am in Lecture Hall 201.
  *   Please bring your laptop with you.
  *   Please bring your orange Orientation folder with you.
  *   We will provide lunch for you tomorrow.
  *   If you have a “color dot” on the sheet of paper in your Orientation folder (as mentioned today), these represent MISSING matriculation requirements. If you have not already done so, tomorrow (Thursday), you may visit the various staff offices between 11am and 12pm (during lunchtime), or between 1 and 3pm.
  *   I have attached your FINALIZED Block 1 schedule again as Dr. Terreberry will walk you through how to read it during his afternoon session. You may want to pull up this calendar on your phone or laptop during this presentation to follow along.


**Also, as was mentioned today, just a friendly reminder that your emergency contact information was due this past MONDAY, July 21st! Please fill out the below survey if you have not already done so. Thanks!

4.             Updated Emergency Contact Information - MANDATORY

  *   Once you have secured LOCAL housing, please fill out the following Wufoo survey so we can keep track of your contact information. This information is MANDATORY and is collected from students at the beginning of each academic year. We will also use this information to register all of our students for national SOMA membership and will be following up individually until each student has completed the survey.
