Hello, Class of 2029!



I hope each of you are having a wonderful Christmas and break!  We are one week away from the first week of elections!  The following positions have their Presence application due on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM.



SGA: President and Vice President

SOMA: President and Vice President

Class of 2028 Officers: President and Vice President



Following the Presence application, please email me (mwbaker1004 at email.campbell.edu<mailto:mwbaker1004 at email.campbell.edu>) your letter(s) of intent (PDF) and speech(es) (in MP4 format) by Monday, January 5, 2026 at 5:00 PM.



A few reminders:

  1.  Please fill out one Presence application per position you are running for.  This will allow the Registrar and Office of Student Affairs to better organize the candidate pool.
  2.  If you are running for multiple of the positions listed above, you must write a letter of intent and record a speech for each position.
  3.  When submitting your LOI's and speeches, please format the subject line as "Organization Position - Last Name, First Name" (i.e. SGA Vice President - Baker, Matthew).



On Tuesday morning, January 6th, all parties will receive the voting links, letters of intent, and videos via email.  Voting will occur until Thursday, January 8th at 8 pm and winners will be announced Friday morning.  I will reach out to all those running before the announcement with the results.



I have attached all prior documents to this email for you to have a look at including the schedule for the rest of the positions.  Please email me if you have any questions!
