Season’s Greetings, Class of 2029,

The final push of Block 2—YOU’VE GOT THIS!  (you are just days away from being HALF-WAY through your first year of medical school…HOORAY!!!)

Take one thing at a time.  Focus on what is the biggest priority and do what you can with the time & energy you have for today—but no more.  To ask more, is unkind to yourself, and it could negatively impact what you are able to do tomorrow, the next day, and so on.  So, do work hard and do your best—and then, STOP.  Be proud of your hard work and allow yourself to time to reset and sleep.  You will need it for tomorrow.  (and maybe read this and repeat each day this week 😉)

We are rooting for you!!!

An idea to pump you up—listen to some music that makes you feel energized and empowered.  Heck!  Walk, run, dance, sing, or just nod your head to whatever song that makes you feel alive and lifts your spirit.

We wish you HAPPY HOLIDAYS and a safe winter break!
