Hey everyone!
This week is the last week that the Women in Medicine club will be hosting the donation drive for Period Kits NC. This organization delivers Period Kits to schools in Johnston county, libraries, and non-profit organizations.
Donations are still being collected on the 1st floor of Levine Hall until Monday, September 22.
Please see below for details on what can be donated to the drive. Students will receive 1 touch hour for each item donated (up to 2 touch hours):
-Maxi (thick) pads
-Thin pads
-Individually wrapped wipes
(we have enough panty liners - thank you!)
Additionally, we will be looking for a few more volunteers to help build the period kits on-campus on September 23 from 3pm-5pm. You would get touch hours for this opportunity. If you are able to help build the kits, please email me to let me know!
