Crush the Boards: Tips, Tasks, & Resources to Keep You Ahead
* Reminder: 2025-2026 TrueLearn/COMBANK: Complete a total of 300 questions within the COMLEX Level 1 Qbank (your choice) by January 6, 2026.
* Try searching for questions on the course content that you are learning to couple preparing for boards with feeling prepared for your integrated quizzes and exams.
* When you are learning, using tutor mode can be very helpful. As you progress and feel more confident in the material or what to work on pacing and testing your knowledge, switch to timed mode.
* Questions? Contact Dr. Hinkelman @ hinkelman at campbell.edu<mailto:hinkelman at campbell.edu>
* You also have additional resources available to you through Kaplan by logging into your student account at kaptest.com.
* Remember, there are "digital lecture notes", videos, and built-in assessments (that are not board-style questions but good comprehension checks) on various topics to test your comprehension on specific topics.
* For the second year, try using "Level 1 Qbank Integrated Plan" to access resources related to the body systems such as "Cardiovascular" or "Respiratory". If you need to find the foundational knowledge such as "Anatomy" or "Microbiology", you can click "The Basic Sciences" tab.
* Boards Review Tip:
Within the Level 1 Qbank Integrated Plan, go to "Study Plan" and under "The Basic Sciences", there are great videos and resources for content covering
* "Ethics & Patient Safety" and "Biostats & Epidemiology"
* When you have time work through these. You might save yourself some "easier" points on boards in the future. (In our experience, students have overlooked these topics or don't even know where to find resources for board prep on these topics, missing points that they may have otherwise readily earned.)
* Did you miss Tuesday, August 5 with MS-3 PLPs on Integrating Board Prep While Conquering the Blocks?
* Check out the recording here: Zoom w/MS-3 PLPs: Integrating Board Prep While Conquering the Blocks<https://campbelluniversity.hosted.panopto.com/Panopto/Pages/Viewer.aspx?id=14f57bdd-62ea-43c5-8a3f-b330011f84b4> or you can access it through the CUSOM ACE Blackboard page.
