[Cusom28] Upcoming Virtual Site Visits - Week of 10/20-10/24 + Hardship Requests Due 10/24 @ 5pm

Good morning,

If you plan to submit a Hardship request, please remember that request is due to me by Friday, October 24th at 5pm. The best way to submit your request is by email, but it can also be submitted in person to any member of Clinical Affairs.

There has been some confusion over what is considered an away/audition rotation and what an approved hardship limits you to do in 4th year. CUSOM considers an away/audition rotation as any rotation complete outside of the CUSOM clinical campus system. This does include all residency programs and hospitals in North Carolina/"within driving distance" (i.e., UNC, Wake Forest, ECU, etc.)

If approved for a hardship, you can complete a total of four weeks away from the CUSOM clinical campus system, in 4th year. However, you can rotate at the other CUSOM clinical campuses, pending rotation capacity and availability.

As a reminder, the following site visits are scheduled for next week. These visits will conclude our virtual site visits.
