Hi all,

Congrats on getting through finals!! LMSA is excited to announce our event Comida y Comunidad on Saturday, October 18th, 2025 from 8am-3pm.

This outreach project will provide meals for 40-50 seasonal farmworkers. We are partnering with Magnolia Grill in Dunn, who have generously offered their kitchen space to prep and cook. After preparing the meals, we will deliver them to the workers’ community and share lunch together, creating an opportunity to serve and connect with the Spanish-speaking community.

We are seeking volunteers to help with:

  *   Ingredient prep: Thursday, Oct 18, 5-7pm & Friday, Oct. 17, 5pm-7pm
  *   Cooking & delivery: Saturday, Oct. 18, 8am-12pm
  *   Event setup & cleanup: Saturday, Oct. 18, tentatively until 3pm
