The below email is sent on behalf of the CUCCC.
Good morning!
I wanted to send a reminder that signing up for clinic is a professional commitment, so please only sign up if you intend to be present. We rely on the 2nd-year students to serve as team leaders at clinic, especially as we train and mentor the 1st-years and PA students who may not yet be as familiar with the CUCCC or with providing patient care. We should all want to feel confident that we are passing on our time with the clinic to the well-prepared and well-supported students who come after us. Remember, the clinic gives us the privilege of practicing medical care for real patients.
If you can no longer attend , it is your responsibility to reach out to alternates and classmates to find a replacement within a reasonable timeframe. Emergencies will be considered on a limited, case-by-case basis. If there is a pattern of missing clinic without arranging coverage, volunteering privileges may be revoked.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out!
