Greetings, Class of 2028!
This monthly newsletter highlights key dates, programming, and upcoming opportunities to support your personal, professional, and academic success.
As we celebrate Black History Month, the SNMA is hosting the viewing of the movie The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks at 6 p.m. on February 17 (location TBA)-open to all students, faculty, and staff.   *   Holistic Support Series: Heal Thyself - Maintaining Health & Nutrition in Stressful Times (optional attendance)
     *   Monday, February 3, 12-1 p.m. in Levine 201 (feel free to bring your lunch)
     *   Drs. Agnello and Pennings will discuss tips on how to eat well and take care of your physical health on a busy schedule and when managing stressful times in your life


  *   Career Preparatory Insights & Strategies (required attendance)
     *   Wednesday, February 12, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in Levine 201
     *   Hear from the Clinical Chairs on different specialties and how to start preparing yourself to be a competitive applicant for residency programs


  *   QPR Training (required attendance)
     *   Thursday, February 13, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. in Levine 201
     *   Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) training session led by Dr. Krepps to learn how to respond to someone in crisis


  *   Anatomy LAB Drop-In Sessions Hosted by Peer Learning Partners (optional attendance)
     *   Friday, February 28, 2-4 p.m. in Levine Anatomy Lab
     *   Utilize this time to check your understanding before the last anatomy practical of Block 3 with support from Peer Learning Partners


  *   Applications for Summer Anatomy Prosectors/Teaching Assistants DUE March 19
     *   This paid position runs from June 2-July 25 and primarily involves dissection and recording of educational demonstration videos as directed by anatomy faculty.
     *   To apply, please submit a ~1 page statement outlining why you wish to serve as an Anatomy prosector to Dr. David Green (dgreen at campbell.edu<mailto:dgreen at campbell.edu>)
Things to include in your statement (if applicable):

  *   Anatomy and/or dissection experience prior to CUSOM
  *   Relevant work or research experience
  *   Relevant activities or skills that require manual dexterity
  *   Any anticipated conflicts (some time away is permissible)

Special Note from Student Affairs:
VOLUNTEER & LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES!!!  There are plenty of roles available for students who are interested in holding a position!  (Watch your emails for deadlines and details)

  *   Mandatory Session for Elected Club/Interest Group Officers/Leaders:
     *   Club Leader Training:  Thursday, February 13, 12-1 p.m. in Levine 201
     *   If you have been selected for a position or specific role associated with a student club/organization/interest group, then plan to attend this mandatory training session.
  *   Volunteers Needed for Accepted Students Day on March 29, 2025
