Hello everyone,

I hope the first couple weeks of class have been going well! Dr. Stewart has shared an amazing opportunity for those interested in Internal Medicine/Hospital Medicine. The event is free and will be held at Tobacco Road Sports Cafe overlooking the Durham Bulls Stadium on Saturday, August 17th, 2024. The details of the event and link to register are listed below:

Date & Time: August 17th at 6:00 PM
Who: Hospitalists, Hospitalist APPs, Residents & Medical Students interested in hospital medicine, SHM members and non-members
Location: Tobacco Road Sports Cafe, Downtown Durham
                - Address: 280 S. Mangum Street, Durham, NC, 27701
                - Patio overlooking the Durham Bulls stadium outfield
Activities: Dinner, drinks, networking, and a baseball game (Durham Bulls vs Nashville Sounds)
Special: We'll be raffling prizes including Amazon gift cards and a complimentary SHM membership for a new member
