Anatomy Lab

Students,


First, I hope everyone is doing well and please stay tuned to information from the university and local news sources. Stay safe and indoors!


Second, we will not be holding Anatomy Lab 1 - Surface Anatomy today. This content will be reviewed in future Osteology labs and will still be on the practical exam. The goal of today's lab is to palpate osteological landmarks on a partner. I have posted a video series demonstrating palpation with a simultaneous view of osteological models. It is located in a subfolder, "Surface Anatomy", at the top left of the Anatomy Panopto section. Please watch these before the next Anatomy lab and practice palpation on yourself or a partner if possible.


Also, review the list of Lab 1 terms in the Anatomy Lab Syllabus (Syllabus and Text section of Blackboard). Most of the landmarks are covered in the Surface Anatomy Lecture and Surface Anatomy video series. You can also refer to any of the textbooks or atlases listed in Anatomy Online Resources (Resources and Guidelines section of Blackboard).
