Hello everyone!!
CMDA has an exciting opportunity coming up to hear from guest speaker Dr. Hey!
Dr. Hey will be giving a talk entitled "Life Foundations: 5 Tips to Become a Joyful and Resilient Modern Day Good Samaritan," in Levine hall 201 at 6pm on November 3rd.
📅 Date: Monday, November 3rd
🕕 Time: 6:00 to 8:00 PM
📍 Location: 201 Levine Hall
Dr. Hey is a spine surgeon who runs his own clinic (Hey Clinic) that is affiliated with Duke. He does very specialized cases of adult scoliosis repair as well as cases with severe adolescent scoliosis. After his undergrad at MIT, he completed medical school at Harvard and residency at Boston Children's followed by a fellowship at Duke. He is affiliated with TCMDA, runs several devotional groups, and is passionate about being an everyday missionary in his practice. This talk is geared towards anybody who is going into medicine and wants tips on how to find joy in the day to day life during both training and when practicing!
