About Dr. DiLorenzo:
Dr. Bob DiLorenzo was born in 1957 and became a Christian in 1990. He has been married for 34 years and has five children and six grandchildren, with two more on the way. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Illinois and trained in emergency medicine in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After several years teaching at UC Irvine Medical Center in California, he moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he has practiced for more than three decades in Raleigh at Rex Hospital (now in Holly Springs). He has served as the Raleigh Emergency Medicine former Director and Department Chair, and Medical Staff President.
During dinner, students will have the opportunity to:
• Hear Dr. DiLorenzo’s reflections on personal disciplines and life as a Christian physician
• Take part in a Q&A and open discussion about faith, medicine, and purpose
