This is a final reminder that today, October 10th, is the last day for the Global Scholar of the Year nominations.

The Global Scholar of the Year (GSOY) Award is an award presented annually by the Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents (COSGP), a council of the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM), to students who demonstrate exceptional dedication, leadership, and impact in the field of global health during their medical education. This award honors students who have gone above and beyond to improve healthcare access, education, and/or outcomes for underserved populations internationally, while also embodying the osteopathic philosophy of holistic, patient-centered care in addressing global health challenges. National GSOY Awardees are commended for their efforts with a monetary award that will be announced at a later date.
Applications for this award require a 500-word reflective essay, a letter of recommendation, and an updated Curriculum Vitae.
