Hello, Camel!

This month's Financial Check-Up is pinpointing Loan Literacy. It's no secret that many medical students borrow loans to finance their education. Knowing how to handle these loans shouldn't be a secret either.

Know What You Owe

It's a good idea to start tracking your student loan debt and begin planning your repayment strategy. Be sure to take into consideration any undergraduate student loans borrowed. Did you know that there are multiple ways to easily track and view all loan information?

Repaying Student Loans 101 - Federal Student Aid

Check out this helpful webpage published by Federal Student Aid to review important concepts, tips, and recommendations for repaying your student loans. You can view your loan balance from the student aid dashboard or your loan servicer's website.

Loan Organizer Spotlight: MedLoans(r) Organizer and Calculator (MLOC)

The MLOC provides a secure location to organize and track student loans while also displaying possible repayment plans and costs based on the borrower's student loan debt. Currently enrolled medical students with an AAMC account can enjoy free premium access to MLOC.
