Hi everybody,

I hope you all had a relaxing break! My name is Caroline Nowell, and I am the current Community Outreach Director for SOMA.

SOMA is preparing for National Osteopathic Medicine Week (April 14-20) by collecting products that will be handed out at Grace Resource Ministry's Health Fair in Raleigh on April 19, 2025. We will be collecting OTC medication (ibuprofen, acetaminophen, anti-histamines, mucinex, etc.), adult multivitamins, and hygiene products (shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste). I will be sending out a sign-up sheet soon for anyone interested in helping us hand out the collected products.

There will be a donation bin in the lobby of Levine Hall for donations between March 19 and April 17. We have also created an Amazon Wishlist that can be shared via social media with the poster attached below. Donations will be collected through the wishlist until April 9, 2025. Students can receive up to 2 TOUCH hours with the donation of 2 items.
