Dear Class of 2027,
Congratulations on completing your first qualifying exam, QE 1! Your QE 1 score and qualifying results have been posted to the grade center of your Blackboard Class of 2027 organization.
We would like to share some performance data from your class and previous years so you can better understand where you stand. First, you can compare your class (and individual) performance on QE 1 across the past five (5) cohorts (since the Class of 2022).
Overall, your class did quite well! Your class mean score was about in the middle but tied with the lowest standard deviation (SD) of 9%. Your class has the second highest median score and the number and % qualifying after QE 1 is on target with prior years. Well done!

As you can see, your most immediate predecessors, the DO Class of 2026, had a similar mean score of 56% with fewer students (50%) qualifying after QE 1. However, no matter if you have achieved a qualifying score or not, you still have time to get where you need to be!
Your score reports should be available through TrueLearn/COMBANK. (Just navigate to the QE 1 same as you did on exam day, and you should see a button to review). You should be able to see overall category performance breakdowns by patient presentation, NBOME discipline, Physician task, Discipline, and Body System. Make sure to use your performance in these individual categories to help effectively guide your study plan.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out for help!
Remember, you all can do this, and we are confident in your ability to be successful!
