Hi Camels!
I hope your summer is going well so far. Your local SOMA chapter has been hard at work trying to make our school/community even better. We have recently created a new position, Resolution Committee Chair, and I will be the first one spearheading it. I have created the below google form for you all to leave your concerns that you feel could/should be addressed through SOMA policy changes. Not sure what that might be? No problem- here are some examples:

It can be things you feel are affecting yourself and fellow students. An example of a resolution that has passed: ENCOURAGING AND SUPPORTING ULTRASOUND TRAINING IN THE PRECLINICAL EDUCATION AT OSTEOPATHIC MEDICAL SCHOOLS

  *   This was passed nationally, obviously does not apply to us because we already do this but great for other schools to adopt!
It can also be things you feel we should be advocating/taking a stand on, like this: RECOGNIZING THE HARMFUL IMPACTS OF CRISIS PREGNANCY
CENTERS ON REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH

Again, these are examples of resolutions presented/passed at the national SOMA meetings. If you have ideas of things you think need to be addressed, please fill out the form below so we can advocate for you!
