Good afternoon, MS-3 & MS-4 Students!

As you all are starting Residency Development or SIM Month, I thought I would forward this information regarding bill clearance (along with deadlines – see below information and attached PowerPoint) on behalf of Student Financial Services.

Here is the UPDATED PAYMENT POLICY FROM CAMPBELL UNIVERSITY as of 6/2/25:

Message from Student Financial Services for DO Students:

Each semester students are required to obtain Bill Clearance<https://www.campbell.edu/bursars-office/payments/bill-clearance/> to attend class and/or participate in course related activities, such as rotations, internships, labs, etc.

Steps 1 & 2 in Bill Clearance<https://www.campbell.edu/bursars-office/payments/bill-clearance/> requirements that must be completed before the first day of class.

  1.  Read and electronically sign the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement.
  2.  Complete the Student Financial Check-In form.

Step 3 Bill Clearance<https://www.campbell.edu/bursars-office/payments/bill-clearance/> requirements that must be completed by the payment deadline to avoid a drop from class or rotations.

  1.  Ensure financial arrangements are in place by the appropriate deadline for the semester.  (Refer to financial arrangements section for more information.)
     *   Fall 2025 financial arrangement deadlines:
        *   DO1 and DO2:  Wednesday, August 6, 2025
        *   DO3 and DO4:  Thursday, July 10, 2025, the anticipated financial aid disbursement date.   Automatic extension will be granted through Thursday, July 17, 2025, for students that have submitted 2025-26 FAFSA and are actively working with the Office of Financial Aid.
     *   Spring 2026 financial arrangement deadlines:
        *   DO1 and DO2:  Friday, January 9, 2026
        *   DO3 and DO4:  Friday, November 14, 2025

Financial Arrangements:

  *   If you plan on using Federal loans to help pay your bill, make sure you have completed your 25/26 FAFSA here: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa . The Financial Aid office will receive your FAFSA and determine your aid eligibility around late June / early July after all Spring grades for returning students have been verified. Once awarded, you will receive an e-mail notification sent to your Campbell e-mail address instructing you to view/accept/decline the aid you will want for the upcoming academic year.  Students must complete their MPN (master promissory note) and EC (entrance counseling) for loans to be accepted as a form of payment.
  *   If you are receiving tuition assistance from a third-party scholarship or VA benefit program, please email your acknowledgement/verification letter to Laura Stanley (sillsl at campbell.edu<mailto:sillsl at campbell.edu>).   If you plan to use VA benefits (Post 9/11 GI bill), please reach out to Amanda McRae ( mcraea at cambpell.edu<mailto:mcraea at cambpell.edu> ) to establish benefits or submit your final schedule for certification.
  *   Pay your balance in full or set up a payment plan and make your first payment on or before the deadline date.
     *   Estimated charges will be placed on DO student accounts that have not been registered.  Students wishing to make a payment prior to registration and/or estimated charges being added may contact Student Financial Services (sfs at campbell.edu<mailto:sfs at campbell.edu>).
     *   Students paying via cash, check, or payment card are encouraged to remit payment at any time after charges appear on their TouchNet account.  If you are using federal loans to pay your student account, please do not remit payment but wait for your federal aid package to be processed.

Students who are not financially cleared by the appropriate deadline for the semester will be dropped for non-payment and will not be permitted to attend class or rotations.
