Hey everyone!

I would like to invite you to the third virtual speaker event hosted by the Music and Art in Medicine interest group! This will take place on Zoom on Wednesday, February 12th at 7:00 PM.

My friend, Sophie Woods, is a board certified music therapist and creative arts therapist in the New York Metropolitan Area. She has worked in hospitals alongside other medical professionals to deliver one-on-one patient care, and now offers individual psychotherapy at a private practice. Sophie will be talking to us about the importance of the arts in medicine, and how we can incorporate these principles into caring for our future patients. This talk will be relevant to students pursuing all medical fields, as creative modalities of patient care can be incorporated at nearly every level.
