[Cusom27] Research symposium abstract submission deadline 2/6

Dear students,
Please note this upcoming abstract submission deadline. This is a great regional research symposium for students.  It will be held in-person on April 17th at Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville, NC. The abstract deadline is February 06, 2025.  Please see the attachments for details.  Note: you will need clearance to enter Camp Lejeune.  If you want to attend this symposium, you must watch your email for instructions for accessing the base.  As a Thursday symposium with an early start, you might want to spend one night in Jacksonville.  Please remember that you can ask for travel funding if you are presenting your research. Students, residents, and practicing physicians from the civilian and military sectors will be attending this symposium. If your work is selected as an oral presentation, I want you to know that this is an excellent presentation venue.
Categories for presentation include (note: most symposia do not have “literature review” as an option, so this is a good meeting to select if you have a literature review.)
▪ Research
Categories Include- Clinical Investigations, Educational Research
▪ Quality Improvement/Process Improvement
▪ Health Care Equity: Addresses barriers to resources and ways to eliminate and/or reduce barriers.
▪ Literature Review/Meta-Analysis: Review of current evidence-based recommendations for a clinical topic, providing a systematic review of the current best research evidence to answer a clinical question.
▪ Case Reports- Provides a detailed report of an individual patient's symptoms, signs, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
