Hi CUSOM!

CPHS Student Affairs is excited to bring a Swab Drive to Campbell University! Earl Young, a 1960 Olympic Gold Medalist, was given a second chance at life after battling an aggressive form of leukemia, thanks to a stem cell donor. Inspired by his journey, Earl Young's Team was founded to defeat blood cancer through donor awareness and action. The foundation has added over 22,000 new potential donors to the donor registry, resulting in more than 100 matches that have saved lives.
For potential donors:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 55
- Remain in the donor pool until age 61
- Be in good health
- No cost for travel if matched
- May be asked to donate bone marrow
- Have not received chemotherapy
- Must not be insulin-dependent
- Cannot have had more than six concussions
CPHS Student Affairs invites you to participate in the Swab Drive on March 12th at 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. The Swab Drive will be located in the Student Union in Ballroom A.
