Good afternoon, everyone!

My name is Micki Brown, I am the President of CUSOM's chapter of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA). We are very excited to host our first event of the year in celebration of Black History Month.

As our Holistic Student Support Newsletter stated, on Monday, February 17th at 6:00pm, we will be having a screening (with pizza!) of the movie The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, a story that highlights ethical issues of race and class in medical research. Following the movie, we will have a short discussion facilitated by Dr. Lowe-Clayton! This will take place in Lecture Hall 201 and will conclude before 8pm.
