Hello everyone,

The Orthopaedic Interest Group will be hosting Dr. Marco Gupton (Campbell alum) on 9/15 at 4pm in room 202 for a fracture conference. Dr. Gupton graduated from Campbell in 2019, did his residency at Mountain View Regional Medical Center, and is currently in the Triangle working on a double fellowship. He just recently completed his pediatrics fellowship through Duke & UNC's dual program, and is now doing his sports medicine fellowship with UNC. He is eager to get back to Camel Country (can't blame him) and give back, which is great!

For this event, Dr. Gupton will be going through x-rays (fractures) and giving insight on how to assess/read them with the ultimate goal of how to present what we see to an attending. At the end of the session, we will be doing a Q&A. I also have a zoom option available (link attached) for those who are at rotation sites and unable to attend in person.

Even if you may not be interested in orthopaedic surgery, reading x-rays is still a great skill to have. We would love to have you, so please come out!

Hope everyone has a good day!
