Please see the information below about the UPMC Altoona Family Medicine Residency open house. They have invited all four classes of CUSOM students to attend.

Our thriving Osteopathic Recognition program wants to connect with your students!  We welcome learners from all four years of medical school. It is never too early to learn about residency training!



The UPMC Altoona Family Medicine Residency- is hosting an open house for students to learn more about applying to residencies and Osteopathic Recognition in residency programs.  Participants will join Kathleen Sweeney DO, FACOFP, FAAFP and family medicine residents to explore:

·         Residency training

·         The Match

·         Family Medicine

·         Transitional Year Residency

·         Osteopathic Recognition in residency training

·         How to stand out as residency applicant

·         Audition rotations

·         Utilizing OMT in daily practice



There will be a brief10-minute overview of these topics followed by a Q&A session.
