[Cusom27] REMINDER: CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - 8th Annual CURRE Symposium

The 8th Annual Campbell University Regional Research and Education (CURRE) Symposium’s Call for Abstracts is now open!  This event, historically held for residents but now open to CUSOM students, will take place on Friday, February 7th, 2025, from 4:00pm – 7:30pm.  The location is to be announced, but due to cost and venue availability, we are considering a virtual format for all participants.  (If held in person, a virtual option will still be offered for distant participants.)  More details on the location will be provided soon!

Important Notes to Participating Students:

Abstract Submissions are due December 2, 2024! – link to the submission form is on the attached pdf flyer

  *   Please read the submission instructions on the attached flyer AND at the top of the online Abstract Submission Form.
  *   Emailed abstract submissions will not be accepted.  You must submit the abstract using the online link.
  *   A confirmation email will be sent automatically to the Primary Author’s email address upon submitting the abstract.
     *   If the Primary Author does not receive a confirmation email or if he/she experiences technical issues when submitting the abstract form, he/she should contact tmjackson at campbell.edu<mailto:tmjackson at campbell.edu>.
  *   Provided there are no HIPPA violations and submission guidelines are followed, all abstract submissions are automatically accepted for the event.  Event acceptance letters will be emailed to the Primary Author’s email address in early January 2025.
Poster Submissions are due December 16, 2024! – link to the submission form is on the attached pdf flyer

  *   The research abstract must be submitted before the research poster.  A poster submission without an abstract will not receive an event acceptance letter.
  *   Emailed poster submissions will not be accepted.  You must submit the poster using the online link.
     *   Poster templates are attached to this email.
  *   Poster submissions must be uploaded as a PDF file.
  *   A confirmation email will be sent automatically to the Primary Author’s email address upon submitting the poster.
Presentation Recordings are due January 13, 2025!

  *   Instructions for recordings will be provided in December.
