Hello Class of 2027!

It's that time of year again to begin planning for one of CUSOM's flagship events, "Helping students Understand the Medical Profession," affectionately known as HUMP Day. This inspiring multi-club event, historically organized by the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), aims to expose high school students from historically underrepresented and marginalized communities to the field of medicine. We are tentatively looking at hosting this event on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025.

HUMP Day provides these students with a glimpse into the life of an osteopathic medical student, motivating them to pursue careers in medicine. Because SNMA is currently dormant, to ensure this year's event is a success, we need your help!

I am seeking passionate members of the Class of 2027 to join the 2025 HUMP Day planning committee. Your involvement will be crucial in creating an engaging and memorable experience for our participants. Additionally, if your student club is interested in collaborating to provide a unique, interactive experience related to your field of interest, please reach out. Together, we can create an exciting day for all!
