[Cusom27] PCC and FMP Delivery Changes

Hello MS-1 and MS-2 students,

The Course Directors of FMP and PCC would like to welcome you to Blocks 2 and 6! We hope you have all had a restful and peaceful break.

We are reaching out to let you know that we will be doing things a little differently during this block. Classes will continue to take place mostly on Friday mornings, but new this year, there will be several class sessions that will be delivered on Zoom. As Dr. Terreberry mentioned in his previous email, this is a trial/pilot to determine whether students are interested and to encourage attendance and participation.

Some notes about Zoom sessions:

  *   Students will not be required to be in the building to attend the Zoom sessions, and lecturers will not be conducting their sessions from lecture halls. That said, if students are on-campus and wish to attend the Zoom session from inside the lecture hall, on your laptop with headphones, you are more than welcome to do that!
  *   The attendance at Zoom sessions is not mandatory but we hope that being able to tune-in from home will encourage you to attend and take part in discussion and content.
  *   Please refer to Dr. Terreberry's previous email for more details on exams, quizzes, and schedule adjustments.

As always, please be sure to check the block schedule and make a note of each week's delivery as it is potentially different from week to week.
