Good Afternoon,

Pediatric medicine club will be hosting Dr. Danielle Thomas-Taylor, child abuse pediatrician, to discuss the importance of trauma informed care practices in medicine. While this is hosted by peds club, this talk will be valuable to all future providers, especially, pediatrics, family medicine, psychiatry, emergency medicine, OB/GYN and internal medicine. 1 in 4 children in North Carolina have had 2+ ACEs, let us learn together how we can best support our future patients.

The event will take place on Wednesday, December 4th at 2:30pm in lecture hall 202 in Leon Levine Hall. Snacks will be provided! Please RSVP with the link below so I can get a headcount for how much food to provide. If you have any questions before the event, don't hesitate to reach out.
