[Cusom27] SHM 2024 Abstract and Poster Competition Details

We are now accepting abstracts for our 2024 Abstract and Poster Competition to be held on October 15th.  Please review the attached guidelines and rules for this years poster competition as they have been updated from last year.  Please note that this year one author per abstract must be an SHM member - this includes student memberships (which are free of charge). There is no limit to the number of abstracts that may be submitted per author.

Abstracts must be submitted through the Qualtrics link below and will be accepted through August 31, more information below and in attached guidelines.

Please share this with your colleagues, students, residents - this is a wonderful opportunity to present your work in a local peer-reviewed event.

If you would be interested in participating in the peer review process as an abstract reviewer or judge, please respond to this email - it would be greatly appreciated to have representation from across the several different hospital systems within our chapter for this process.

Deadline to submit: Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Award for Winners: Overall winner will receive automatic abstract acceptance to Society of Hospital Medicine Converge Meeting in Las Vegas, NV taking place April 2025. They will also receive free conference registration.

Note: In order to participate at the SHM Converge 2025 RIV Competition, the overall winner of this competition must submit their abstract into the SHM Converge 2025 abstract submission site in Fall 2024 before the deadline.
