Dear Class of 2027,
I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer thus far. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone that has dedicated valuable time to serve our patient population at the CUCCC. The impact you are making is life-changing for many.
We have some exciting initiatives for this upcoming fall. On behalf of the CUCCC Mobile Clinic Executive Team, I am excited to announce a new incentive available for our class alone, incoming OMS-II students. Beginning in August and running through the end of December, the mobile clinic volunteer with the highest number of volunteer shift "points" will be given a funded CUSOM medical mission trip of their choosing. This student doctor will be given up to $2,500 for their chosen trip. The point breakdown is as follows:

  *   Duplin = 1.5 points
  *   Harnett = 1 point
  * Points are x2 for clinics before exam (Duplin = 3 points, Harnett = 2 points)
  * -1 Point for shift callout without finding an alternate (exceptions: no alternates listed, medical emergency, sick)
I look forward to this upcoming fall with you all at the mobile clinic.Thank you again for your continued service to our community and school.

Kindly,
--
