Hello all!

The MSFC club at CUSOM would like to invite you to join us to hear from an OB/GYN speaker over Zoom on Tuesday August 27th at 6pm. Our speaker, Jonas Swartz, MD, MPH, is board certified in Complex Family Planning and is speaking about why abortion care is important, what abortion involves, the safety of the procedure, how to practice good medicine with current abortion barriers, and how to balance personal/religious beliefs with patient care when it comes to abortion.

This session is designed to fill a gap in our OB/GYN unit, as we are the only medical school in NC without abortion added into our curriculum. We hope to foster an educational environment  so please sign up if you would like to learn more about this while maintaining a respectful space for our speaker.

We would love for our Campbell MSBS, Pharmacy, PA, OMS1-4, and Nursing students to join!

In order to have an idea of who will be joining us, we are sending out a very short survey where you can also enter any questions you would like asked anonymously at the end of the talk. Once you fill out the survey, a Zoom link will be sent out to you.
