Subject: FREE Orthopaedic and Dermatology Bioskills Workshop
Hello everyone and welcome back from summer!
My name is Elizabeth Chan and I am the Orthopaedic Interest Group President. I am also sending this email on behalf of Kaitlyn Stocks, OMS-2 and President of the Dermatology Club. I wanted to share an amazing opportunity for those interested in Orthopaedics or Dermatology! Nth Dimensions is a national nonprofit corporation that works towards eliminating healthcare disparities by diversifying the physician workforce. They have several programs across the US including their Bioskills Workshops. On Saturday, September 9th, 10am-3pm, they will be hosting a Bioskills Workshop at Wake Forest University (less than 2 hours from CUSOM). This event is open to all students!
It's a little bit of a drive but Nth Dimensions is a wonderful program and I had an amazing experience with my Nth Dimensions Summer Internship Program this past summer. They have internships for rising MS-2s in ortho, derm, pm&n, pathology, and radiology so if anyone is interested for next summer please reach out! I have included the sign up as well as a spreadsheet so we can sort out carpool groups!
