Good afternoon all,

On behalf of the Department of Behavioral Health, we are inviting all MS1s to consider applying to be a Peer Navigator for the 2024-2025 academic year! The peer navigator program was established by the Behavioral Health Department in 2017 with the mission of enhancing the well-being of incoming students via peer support. To be a peer navigator you need to be willing to commit approximately 5 hours per block of your time, have an interest in supporting first year medical students with their mental health, academics, engaging in the CUSOM community and easing their overall transition to medical school. There is NO GPA requirement to participate as a peer navigator and leadership opportunities are available.
