Hi everyone!
We are so excited to announce the creation of the Music and Art in Medicine Interest Group, and are inviting you to join! This group will aim to educate students about the impact of the arts in patient outcomes, population health, and personal growth through a Zoom speaker series, as well as give back to the community in a unique way, providing patients with new arts-based tools for healing.
You do not have to be a self-proclaimed musician or artist to join! We welcome everyone who has even a tiny appreciation for music and art, whether you simply enjoy lo-fi beats while studying, or are an avid painter. This group will provide educational opportunities for new healing perspectives, as well as give members a chance to engage in arts-based activities both at CUSOM and for patients in our community.
We are also accepting applications for the position of Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer! If you are seeking a leadership role and feel like this would be a good fit, we encourage you to apply.
