<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The Cape Fear Research Consortium (CFRC) is a collaboration consisting of the Cape Fear’s regional educational institutions, medical centers, and military organizations.
The Consortium’s primary goal is to promote academic, cultural, and economic change to further the overall community growth of the Cape Fear region. We will accomplish this by leveraging the immense combined talent of the region to spur independent and collaborative
research. The Annual Symposium showcases scholarly activities from undergraduate/graduate medical students, professional students, residents, faculty, and staff. In addition to providing a forum for research, process improvement (PI), and quality improvement
(QI), the Symposium fosters collaborative research that benefits each institution and the community as a whole.
