Hello everyone,
My name is Mason Dermott and along with Abby Heims and Shannon Greenwood, we are the new Orthopedic Interest Group leadership. We wanted to let everyone know about a neat FREE opportunity coming up on 4/4 @5pm-8pm in Winston Salem, NC. The event will be hosted by the Perry Initiative; their focus is to further women in the field of orthopedics, however all genders are welcome to apply.
It will be an opportunity to get hands-on experience with orthopedic surgeons in the field, gain mentorship, and network with peers who are also interested in this field. I have attached the flier below, which has the QR code to sign up. The sign-up deadline is March 11th, but the website says they generally take about 40 students, so if you are interested, go ahead and sign up!
